<p>The fleece is lined on one side with a film of plastic material, pref. polyethylene, by means of glue, solvent or wax or by hot adhesion. The tear resistance and elasticity of the fleece are greatly improved compared with a fleece on to which the plastic coating is extruded, using the same plastic material with the same thickness. The fleece is suitable for use as a cover for cellulose wadding used for hygienic or medical purposes. In an example, the fleece is a thin wide fibrous bandage of single or multi-layer cellulose wadding with a density of 23 g/m2, to which is glued a polyethylene film with a density of 20 g/m2.</p> |
