摘要 1536794 Cooling semiconductor devices BROWN-BOVEBI & CIE AG 17 Feb 1977 [17 Feb 1976] 6722/77 Heading H1K A semiconductor device is provided with two liquid cooling elements each connected to a tube of cold workable material, through which coolant fluid enters or leaves, by means of a screw connector tightening of which causes the tube material to flow plastically to render the connection fluid tight. As described the cooling boxes 2, 2<SP>1</SP> of conventional disc-cell rectifiers or thyristors (Fig. 1) are interconnected by tubes 7 secured thereto by forcing nuts 9 over flanges 8 on the male part 4 of the connector so that their internal threads engage threads 10 on the connector part 4 and then tightening the nuts to flow the tube material into the gap 12 provided in the nut. The tubes may previously be hot shaped into smooth curves to enable differential expansion and manufacturing tolerances of the connected parts to be taken up.
