<p>The document to be copied is passed through a thermal radiation unit by means of a conveyor belt passing round a cylinder, there being a separate feed for this and for the copying sheets, which each comprise a paper and a transfer sheet, delivering them into a position where they are placed on top of each other. There are separate feelers actuated by the leading edges of the documents and of the copying sheet sets, those of the latter being of a different pattern to those of the documents. One of the feelers controls the alignment mechanism, and other feelers operated later regulate the drives delivering the documents and the copy sheet sets.</p> |
