<p>Cooling bed for the sideways conveying of roller prods., esp. steel profiles and tubes fed into an inlet channel without brakes or rollers, from which moving rakes fitted with teeth lift the prods. and transport them across a stationary grid fitted with teeth. The grid is fitted with two inlet channels located next to each other, and the moving rakes enter the two channels. The outer inlet channel is pref. lower than the inner inlet channel, and the front end of the moving rake is pref. fitted with two lifting grooves which lift the rolled prods. out of the inlet channels. The moving rakes are pref. reciprocated by eccentric drives, and the outlet end of the bed is pref. fitted with a rotary conveyor. The cooling bed can be loaded from either of the two inlet channels.</p> |
