An anti-agglomerating agent for salts or salt-based products, especially potassium chloride, comprises a cationic constituent which is at least one anti-agglomerating fatty acid amine salt, and an anionic constituent which is at least one fatty acid which is itself anti-agglomerating. The anionic constituent may be the fatty acid from which the amine salt is derived. A suitable agent has the formula RnCOOH.RpNH2+XRn.COOH in which Rn and Rp are aliphatic radicals with from 8 to 22 carbon atoms and X is a positive number.
