<p>The tipping lorry has its hydraulic system bled by topping it up with oil and then turning a hand wheel to and fro. This is done by a pump (9) circulating oil from the reservoir (1) through transparent pipes (12, 13, 15). One pipe (13) leads from the pump to the previous topping-up point (14) and a second (15) from the tipper valve's (16) bleeder opening back to the reservoir. A third pipe (12) runs from the reservoir to the pump and a further tube (7) ventilates the reservoir. To bleed the system, the last tube (7) is opened and the pump switched on.</p> |
