Plug connector with enclosed housing - has testing channels for sensors for application on wiring panels

The cable plug connection (4) has an enclosed housing. Its contacts afford plugging into elements of a wired panel. The plug connector has channels (9) for testing sensors (6) which extend from the contacts (7) to the plug connector side, away from the contacts, thus permitting access to the individual line tracks. Preferably the channels are formed in side walls or partitions of the enclosed connector. The sensor may be of rectangular cross section. The channels may be L-, or T-shaped and open to the contactor outside. They may open into lateral apertures round the contacts.
