PURPOSE: To optimize a fatigue life by disposing a spring finger device including a jaw device between a snake clamp position and a snake release position. CONSTITUTION: When the snake 32 is partly drawn out of a housing 16 through a guide tube 34 and is inserted into a drain pipe to be cleaned, a user clamps an outer sleeve 62 for a hand grip and clamps a motor device 12 by the other hand. The motor device 12 is then driven and the housing 16, the guide tube 34, the spring finger 46 and the snake 32 rotate around the axis A. When the user displaces the sleeve assembly 60 for the hand grip backward toward the housing 16, a jaw 52 of the spring finger moves inward in a diametral direction to displace the leg part 50 of the spring finger. As a result, the easy execution of cleaning and exchange is made possible and the life may be prolonged. |
