The pneumatic machine automatically fills bottles, having a tank for the liquid with multiple distribution taps. The bottles are supported by a round plate, fixed to which is a cylindrical sleeve supporting the tank, the bottles being arranged round the sleeve. A pneumatic ram rotates the assembly of distributor, tank plate and sleeve, and guides are provided to direct the taps (12, 13) into the bottle necks (11). A mechanism moves them up and down in the necks, opening them in the bottom position and shutting them in the top one. The rotary drive can incorporate a ratchet wheel with pawl and locking pin both spring-loaded. The pawl is mounted on the ram piston rod and performs a reciprocating movement.
