<p>Sheets are produced from particles such as wood chips or fibres, sand, waste which, after treating with binder, are distributed uniformly on to a carrier web, carried into a press, and pressed, the carrier being a disposable film, paper, metal foil of fabric. Process uses no heat-consuming steel band, the extra cost of paper layers is more than compensated for by the improved finish.</p> |
