The portable safe alarm uses a weight (1) suspended from a point (2) so as to be able to freely oscillate when the safe is displaced from its normal rest position. Elements (3-6) can be actuated by the oscillating weight (1) so as to close the electrical circuit (6). This operates a signal or alarm. A mechanism (9-12) prevents closure of the electric circuit if the alarm is not required. The weight (1) has an axial hole (13) which carries a rod (3) which presses in the rest position onto a piece (4) forming part of a flexible plate (5). This plate (5) forms part of a switch fitted with a second plate (6) placed so that when the rod (3) is displaced laterally by the weight (1) and the piece (4) is freed. The elasticity of the first plate (5) closes the electric circuit. |
