<p>Valve for washing or dishwashing machine comprises a housing enclosing two balls and having a connecting tube for a pipe leading to a drain pump and a connecting tube for a pipe leading to a drainage outlet. In the inoperative position, the lower ball supports the total wt. of the upper ball which is located perpendicularly above it, closing the tube leading to the drain pump. In the operative position, it releases this tube and holds the upper ball against an inclined surface of the housing, in which position the centres of the two balls are laterally offset from each other. The valve has a powerful closure force, and functions reliably independently of the position of the tub and drainage outlet.</p> |
