<p>The belt is worn by persons suffering from hernia and has an abdominal strip (1) and thigh straps (3). The harness holds several pads (5) disposed over its surface depending on the wearer's requirements. Each paid is separate from the harness and has a backing (8) of a plastic material covered with fine gripping hooks. It can be attached to an intermediate piece (6, 7) of similar material, the hooks embedding into felt. The intermediate piece can, in turn, be attached to a felt pad (4) on the inner surface of the belt (2). The use of an intermediate piece greatly extends the positioning range of the pad.</p> |
