<p>The fastening system for attaching a curtain rail to the side walls of a room includes two U-shaped wall supports (4) which are designed to fit on to both ends of the curtain rail (1) which has on its underside (7) a track (8) for the curtain runners, and on its upper side (12) a hollow channel (13) with inwardly aligned walls (16) separated by a slot (18). The flanges (42) of the U-shaped wall supports engage partly over the sides of the curtain rail (1). The wall supports (4) have tongues (45) between the flanges projecting inwards at right angles to the web (41). The curtain track (1) can be inserted from the ends into the wall supports (4) up to the stops (56).</p> |
