<p>Surgical suture dispenser comprises a closed envelope of strong paper or cardboard, in which the suture is folded flat and which has near one of its edges an opening for passage of one of the free ends of the suture. The envelope may be formed by folding a blank comprising two rectangular panels joined by a short edge in which is formed the opening, a flap joined to the other short edge of the first panel for holding between the latter and the second panel, a third rectangular panel, and a turnover flap joined respectively at the long edges of the second rectangular panel. The turnover panel has a point engaging in a slot in the third panel to close the envelope.</p> |
