The rotating cutter is for removal of silage from a circular silo of standing or sunken type. The silage is removed from the upper end of the silo. The support framework (10) has wheels (9) and discharge rollers (16). A motor (2) is mounted on the frame (10) and a height adjustable spindle (3) leads from the motor (2) to a rotating disc or blade device (1). The latter (1) is mounted on bearing rollers and is used to produce slices of silage which are then discharged from the silo. These sliced are regular in size and shape and speed of delivery irrespective of silage packing.
