<p>The appliance is used for the removal of pieces of chewing -gum esp from pavements, by embrittlement by undercooling with liquidised gases with a low boiling point. A container (1) for the liquefied gas and a nozzle (4) connected to the container by a pipe lead (3) and return valve (2), the whole being mounted on a mobile chassis. The chassis may be in the form of a metal tube (5), curved at the top and fitted with a handle (6). At the bottom end there is a welded U-shaped bent fork (7), with a wheeled (9) transverse axle (8) welded to the prongs. The nozzle may be mounted on the transverse axle, at the bottom end of the pipe lead.</p> |
