The photographic apparatus superposes staggered photographs of the object taken from different perspectives. Individual photographs are scanned and stored as scanning signals. Stored signals are then superposed with suitable time delay. A store (7) is used, which allows simultaneous read out of scanned signals. Read out signals from individual pictures are passed through at least one delay line (10) each, with adjustable delay time, and applied to the superposing device (9). The delay lines may consist of shift registers whose clock frequency depends on the position of the layer which is to be brought into focus.
