POROUS ELECTRODE STRUCTURE

PURPOSE:To ensure good gas permeability and to decrease electric resistance by patterning a specified geometrical shape and installing a layer conductive pattern in a porous electrode. CONSTITUTION:A porous electrode structure 40 has a porous electrode 21, which forms reaction parts and a current collecting pattern 31 which is patterned in the porous electrode 21 so as to have united layer relation. Even if the porous electrode 21 is densely structured and is thinned to increase gas permeability, attendant electric resistance is practically decreased by the conductive current collection pattern 31, because the reaction parts increase in number or total area. Effective resistance of the porous electrode structure 40 when conductive leads 23 are connected to an outside circuit is decrease seeing from outside circuit. High gas permeability and low electric resistance which are antinomic are achieved without any contradiction.
