<p>The cannula can be sterilised without deformation and makes it possible to obtain at choice, by varying the pressure applied, either a straight cylindrical jet or a flow in which there is a whirling motion. It has a hollow body which can be attached to a container of liq., such as a rubber bulb, and has a narrow extension on which the nose of the appliance is screwed. It has two blind bores, axially in line with each other and with the nose outlet. From the hollow body of the cannula, the fluid passes through radial holes into an annula chamber formed by the nose and from there to the bottom bore and the outlet, through two holes offset to each other. It obtains the same results with only two pieces, i.e., without the conventional core. Moulding and assembly operations can be avoided, the cannula can be filled without being dismantled.</p> |
