Pipeline safety system for use in nuclear plant - has protective tube of component sections with cover and heat conducting medium filling intermediate annular space

A safety device for use in a pipeline system esp. for use in a pipeline incorporated into a nuclear type plant and which has a pressurised hot medium flowing through it and which is surrounded with the smallest possible intermediate gap by means of a protective tube, has the protective tube constructed from component sections which are connected to the tubular pipeline by elastic type elements. The gap between the component sections is covered with a cover and the annular space, which is bounded by two of the component sections, is filled with a heat conducting medium.
