The ester of Formula (Ia) may be prepared by cyclization of a compound of formula The compound of Formula (III) may be prepared by reacting an oxalic acid ester with a compound of formula which may be prepared by cyclization of a compound of formula The compound of Formula (IV) may be prepared by reacting the corresponding aniline derivative with 2-ethoxymethylene ethylacetoacetate. The compounds of Formula (I) may be used to alleviate allergic asthma, hay fever, nettle rash, eczema, and atopic dermatitides and may be administered nasally, topically, orally, parenterally or rectally. |
