Pipe connector especially for repairing a broken pipe has a repair pipe (2) inserted between the ends (1) of the broken pipe. The repair pipe has at each end an inner sleeve (3). After the repair pipe is positioned between the ends of the break, the sleeves are slide to cover the respective junctions between repair and main pipe. Each sleeve has seals respectively engaging the repair pipe and the adjacent main pipe end. Each junction has an external coupling (11, 12, 13) comprising halves secured to the two junction parts and to each other to provide mechanical strength for the junction.
