The loudspeaker is mounted on a baffle, esp. in a cabinet. It is provided with an aperture for sound radiation whose dia. corresponds to that of the diaphragm. The baffle (10) is recessed on its back at the edge of the aperture (12) with the recess dia. corresponding to that of the mounting flange, and its depth (a) is such that the remaining thickness of the baffle is only small.
