<p>The equipment is for the electrostatic projection of powder, having a powder reservoir connected to a casing supplied with compressed gas. A projector pistol is connected to the casing by a fluidised powder passage. The casing is separate and independent of the reservoir (1), being formed by a bell (10) with an opening at the end penetrating into the powder in the reservoir. The powder passage (5) is connected to the base of the bell. The gas system has a calibrated orifice (32), discharging into the bell near the powder passage and along its axis. Holes (14) are formed in the walls of the bell, leading from the inside to the outside.</p> |
