The irradiation period is settable by the manually operation element which after irradiation start is reset from the selected to the zero position, in which it actuates the radiator switching-off. The time switch has an indicator (3) in relation to which the setting element (2) is adjustable. The indicator is connectable to the setting element by carriers (10, 11) in such manner that it is carried positively by the setting element during adjustment of the irradiation period. The positive connection is released during the element resetting. A scale of the indicator enables reading out of the adjusted irradiation period. The indicator can be firmly latched in relation to the setting element.
