A water suction pelletiser for thermoplastic extrusions has a multiple nozzle to extrude matl., a multi-injector for water introduction, a multi-tube cooler through which the extrusions pass down with the water, and a cutter to pelletise the solidified extrusions; one device monitors the pressure at the top of the tubes and another interrupts the extrusion process in the event of an abnormal pressure drop. Rapid detection of storage in the injector is obtd., giving max. throughput. |
