The coal lumps may be at least partially separated from the slurry, e.g. in a cyclone, prior to grinding. The ground coal lumps may be deashed by a froth flotation whilst suspended in an aqueous phase. The deashed particles may be separated from the aqueous phase by pelletization with a binder, e.g. a liquid hydrocarbon. |
