Flexible bag for treating suspended biological material - with two inlet pipes and one outlet pipe

The receptacle, e.g. for separation, consists of an annular or disc-shaped bag of flexible, inert, sterilisable material, e.g. plastic. The bag has >=1 pipe for supply of the suspension to be treated, >=1 pipe for supply and/or guide means for flow of treatment liquid in the bag, and >=1 outlet pipe. The guide means for flow of treatment liq. may consist of a perforated ring pipe, or several radial channels and/or guide surfaces formed by partitions which are integrally attached to one or both films which form the bag. The pipe for supply of treatment liq. pref. leads into a membrane-piercing coupling. The pipe for supply of suspension pref. leads in at the edge of the bag, and bears at its end remote from the bag a hollow needle surrounded by a sterile sheath. A non-return valve may be mounted in the outlet pipe.
