<p>An arrangement for rectifying a higher or a lower a.c. voltage, depending on the position of switches between it and the transformer, has a full wave rectifier following the transformer. The lowest voltage is permanently connected to the rectifier (10-13), and the higher voltages are rectified by two diodes connected in series in a rectifier bridge arm (25, 26; 31, 32; 34, 35) connected in parallel with the original rectifier circuit (10-13). Junction points between the above pairs of diodes are connected through a switch (24, 30, 33) to the corresponding tapping of the secondary winding.</p> |
