<p>The watering-hose consists of lengths of flexible tubing (1) each approx. twenty metres long. Each two lengths of hose are joined by a rigid tubular connection (2) to which is inserted into the ends of the hose-lengths and fixed by means of a hose-clamp (3). A rigid, annular base-piece with a diametrical strut is welded to the tubular connection (2) and rests on the ground as the hose is unwound. A socket (5) in the middle of the tubular connection points upwards. A shoft flexible hose-section (6) on the top of which is a spray-nozzle or sprinkler (7) fixed to the socket (5). When water begins to flow under pressure through the hose, the sprinkler automatically lifts up into an operating position.</p> |
