Collapsible floating pontoon bridge - has flotation chambers with longitudinal slotted top rails carrying lateral planks forming pontoon upper surface

The floating pontoon has rectangular flotation chambers (2) running longitudinal down each side of the pontoon. The chambers carry longitudinal rails on their upper surface and these rails have a horizontal inward facing slot. The carrying platform of the pontoon is made from lateral planks (1) which slide into the slots in the rails. Lateral rails (4) at each end of the pontoon are clamped to the longitudinal rails and hold the planks in position and rigidify the pontoon structure. On each side rail at each end of the pontoon, mooring rings (5) project upwards from the rails.
