<p>A method of phase shifting periodic signals derived from a triangular signal, combines three signals. These three signals are the triangular signal, a rectangular signal derived from a control d.c. voltage proportional to the phase angle and a reference voltage. They are combined into one output voltage, to satisfy three specified conditions. The phase can be shifted within the range of -180 deg. to +180 deg. The rectangular signal is derived from a control d.c. voltage which changes its polarity in the decreasing branch of the triangular signal. Envelopes of the triangulare signal correspond to a control voltage proportional to a phase shift of +90 deg.</p> |
