The slow running jet is provided with an electro magnetically operated check valve. The valve only allows fuel to be drawn out of the jet when the engine is to run at slow speed. The magnetic valve draws its current from a revolution counter switch which passes current when the engine is stationary. An additional switch could be fitted to the accelerator rod (6) so that the electric contact to the magnetic switch would be broken when the accelerator pedal was depressed. Considerable fuel saving results during periods of over ride.
