<p>The folding system for use in a envelope filling machine is constructed such that the support surface (4) of the paper sheet surface feed is attached at an angle in front of the first set of fold-rollers (47, 48) and parallel to the plane through the roller axes. Each pair of folding rollers (47, 48; 49, 50) has a folding knife or blade (53, 54) which is held under tension by contact rollers (72-74, 76). A hand adjuster (78, 80, 81) is provided for the blade (54) of the second roller set (49, 50) such that it closes the envelope fold (75) and diverts the envelope between the second pair of rollers (49, 50).</p> |
