Two piece fastener for clothing - has catch plate with sprung catch piece which slides into angled groove in holder plate

Clothing fasten consists of a holder (1) and a catch plate (2) which slide together using dovetailed slides on each side. In the catch plate (2) is a window in which is a sprung tongue (3) on whose end is a catch plate (4). To fit the catch plate (2) in the holder (1) the catch piece (4) enters an angled groove (5) which draws it to the side (7) until it reaches a catch point (8) where it springs into place. To unfasten the catch the catch piece (4) is slid along the extension to the groove which draws it to the side (7) until it reaches the turning point (9) where it springs across into the return groove (5') from which the plate can be withdrawn to separate the two parts. This method produces a strong fasten which cannot be accidentally opened with a strong pull yet is small and flat for use on under clothing.
