PURPOSE:To simplify the structure by feeding a current to an electronic circuit or the like from a power source through a contact connected to the power source, and a power source terminal provided in a key means so as to operate an electronic circuit in a key part when the power source terminal makes contact with the contact. CONSTITUTION:There are provided a key means 2 having a key part 4, a steering lock device 5, and an electronic device 6. Further, the means 2 comprised a battery 9, an electronic circuit 15, a light emitter 16 and the like, and the device 6 comprises a light receiver, a drive control circuit 14 and the like. When the key part 4 is inserted in the device and is then turned, the terminal 14 makes contact with a contact 34 so as to establish a circuit from a power source 96 to the means 2, and an infrared beam from the emitter 16 is received by the receiver 50, resulting in operation of the device 6. Accordingly, only one power source terminal is satisfactory in the provision to the key means, thereby it is possible to simplify the structure. |
