<p>Handle for paintbrush or other tool is made of moulded thermoplastic faom amterial, allowing it to be made with any desired wt. between 0.5 and 0.9 g/cc. The handle is lacquered to provide it with a non-plastic appearance. The handle does not need to be made hollow to save material and time, which would make it too light and unbalanced (top-heavy). The handles does not have the soapy or paraffin-like feel of a plastic handled does not have the soapy or paraffin-like feel of a plastic handle which tends to become slippery with perspiration, requiring extra attention and grip to prevent the handle from slipping. The lacquer prevents the handle from being attacked and softened by solvents and other chemical agents. Also, the handle can be made multi-coloured.</p> |
