Rectangular tank designed to resist internal pressure - has side panels shaped as truncated pyramids with domed tops for reinforcement

A rectangular tank is esp. used for storing fluids. The side walls of the tank have an outwards projecting preformed reinforcement. The side surfaces in the part near the edge forms with a plane projecting through the edges of the side walls an angle which is greater than an angle between the middle part of the side surface and the same plane. The part of the side surface near the edge forms a pyramid stump. Instead of the level surface of the pyramid stump curved surfaces are provided about an axis parallel to adjoining edges of the side surface.
