Cooler for dust-laden air or gases - having separate passages for dirty air and cooling air

In the cooler, in which fans are located in the cooling air inlet passage, the passages for dirty air and cooling air are formed by a strip of material stretched in zig-zag formation over support rods. The construction the passages is simple and inexpensive. The cross-sectional area of the passages can be varied during operation. The strip of material can be varied in tension and thereby rattled to remove adhering dust.
