Annular contact bearing assembly - slides on centre locating tracking ring to accept axial and radial thrust

The outer and inner straight conical faced tracks slide on a curved faced load bearing and locating ring. The ring face curvature is chosen according to duty. A ring is solid, or segmentally divided, either free to rotate independently or can be integral with a bearing half. An inner hub (1) and attached seating ring (4) are angle tracked (1a, 4a). The outer housing (2) and attached seating (3) are also tracked (2a, 3a). An intermediate ring (5) is concave faced on both sides. The assembly accepts axial and radial thrust.
