<p>A method of drawing in the stator windings of an electric motor, in which strands from two coils are superimposed in some stator grooves and their end windings are separated by insulating foils. The coils are on pins extending between the grooves and the head portions of the coils are moved through the stator by axial forces applied at an end face, these forces also acting on the insulating foils. The coils, with insulating foils interposed are in two layers on the pins. The invention also provides an electric motor produced by such a method and apparatus for carrying out the method.</p> |
