FIELD: medical engineering. SUBSTANCE: injection cartridge 1 of single- or double-chamber type has front piston 3 designed to force out injected preparation 2 through outlet branch pipe 4. Auxiliary chamber is positioned behind front piston 3 and is tightened at its rear end through rear piston 10. Auxiliary chamber contains washing liquid 9. The latter may flow through by-pass connection 11 positioned at front end of cartridge 1 around front piston 3, and it may be forced out through outlet branch pipe 4. As a result, outlet branch pipe is washed out, and residue of injected preparation 2 is forced out of outlet branch pipe for injection into patient. EFFECT: enhanced efficiency. 28 cl, 15 dwg
