The torque spanner has a ratchet mechanism which, when the required torque is reached, produces a relative movement which operates a valve /7/. The valve has a pressure pipe /9/, which connects the paint marking assembly /11/ located in the spanner head /3/ with pressure chamber /10/. At the same time the paint marking assembly is moved against the bolt connection. The paint marking assembly /11/ consists of a felt pin /13/ operated axially by power cylinder /12/. The felt pin /13/ located in the spanner head /3/ is easily exchangeable. The handle part /1/ houses the pressure chamber /10/.
