PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert-mount a pressure-contact terminal with an electric wire onto a connector housing. SOLUTION: A pressure-contact terminal (t) is mounted at first onto a jig 14 parallel to a jig pallet 12, and an electric wire (a) is made to pressure-contact with the terminal (t). The wire (a) is mounted from an upper side of the jig pallet 12 in this manner to provide the terminal (t) with the electric wire (a) by the pressure contact. Then, the terminal (t) with the electric wire (a) is removed from the pallet 12 to be mounted onto a connector housing C. The pressure-contact terminal (t) is inserted by this manner into a cavity (s) of the connector housing C from its rear face as a crimp terminal, and workability is improved thereby. The respective electric wires (a) are connected to a large number of the terminals (t) at the same time by the pressure contact. Therefore, a required number of the pressure-contact terminals (t) are inserted into the cavities (s) at the same time. |
