<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method capable of keeping a drying time of coating liquid constant even when breadth and thickness of a belt-like body are changed, and to provide a planographic printing plate produced by the coating method. <P>SOLUTION: In the coating method, the coating liquid is applied to the surface of at least one side of the belt-like body, the applied coating liquid is dried and a coated layer is formed. Therein, when the breadth of the belt-like body is broad and the thickness thereof is thick, the belt-like body is coated with the coating liquid while being kept at a higher temperature as compared with the case that the belt-like body is coated with the coating liquid when the breadth of the belt-like body is narrow and the thickness thereof is small. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
