PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ink composition for inkjet recording, which has excellent curability and gives a printed matter with suppressed odor, and an inkjet recording method using the ink composition for inkjet recording.SOLUTION: The ink composition for inkjet recording comprises: as component A, (A-1) a (meth)acrylate compound having two or more functional groups and (A-2) a vinyl ether compound having two or more functional groups and/or a compound having a (meth)acryloyloxy group and a vinyl ether group, by more than 75 wt.% with respect to the total mass of the ink composition; a compound having a molecular weight of 1,000 or more and two or more maleimide structures in the molecule, as component B, by 1 to 10 mass% with respect to the total mass of the ink composition; a photosensitizer having a molecular weight of 1,000 or more as component C, by 0.5 to 10 mass% with respect to the whole mass of the ink composition; and substantially no photopolymerization initiator having a molecular weight of less than 1,000.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1 |
