NEW MATERIAL:A chromosome DNA containing DNA sequence contributing to manifestation of purine.operon belonging to genus Bacillus fungus and 3'- adjacent region DNA in which a part or whole of DNA sequence contributing manifestation of said purine.operon is modified to enhance manifestation. USE:Used for biosynthesis of inosine and/or guanosine, etc. PREPARATION:Produced by recombinant DNA technique.
