PURPOSE:To provide cellulosic yarn with excellent crease resistance without damaging tensile strength by treating the surface of cellulosic yarn with polyamino acid or polyamino acid and crosslinking agent. CONSTITUTION:The surface of cellulosic yarn such as cotton, flax or regenerated fiber, e.g. viscose is treated with a polyamino acid or the polyamino acid and a crosslinking agent (e.g. isocyanate-based epoxy-based crosslinking agent) to provide the cellulosic yarn with excellent crease resistance without damaging tensile strength. The polyamino acid is obtained by polymerization through decarboxylation of amino acid N-carboxylic acid anhydride. |
