PURPOSE:To record simultaneously original information and additional information on recording paper without overlapping nor omission by contracting the additional information at a different contraction rate according to its contents and recording the additional information together with the original recording information. CONSTITUTION:A recording device 41 for additional information on a date, etc., is fixed on the reverse surface of a scale plate 40 opposite a platen 1, and the information is displayed on reflection type liquid crystal. A mirror unit 6 moves at the start of copying and the front end of recording paper is fed to a position N when only original information is copied by making the timing difference or to a position A when the additional information is copied as well as the original information. The original information and additional information are contracted and copied at the contraction rate m=ldivided by (l+a), where l is the original length and (a) is additional information length, so that those two pieces of information are copied simultaneously without overlapping nor omission. |
